Conquering anti-Black racism in Peterborough through fun, fellowship, and education.AANP strives to raise awareness of the positive aspects of Black heritage and culture. It believes that self-education is the path to eliminating anti-Black racism and internalized racism. AANP is a nonprofit resource in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Admission to all of our events is free.
Some of you may remember that we started out as Afrocentric Awareness Network of the Kawarthas in 2007. We stopped running due to unforeseen circumstances, but are back better than ever with a focus on Peterborough.
