Marketing for the events takes place via some or all of the following: magazines (The Wire Megazine, Electric City), newspapers, email (approx 1500 residents), Facebook (paid and free), press releases, Twitter, online calendars, and Instagram.
Vendor contests: The 3 vendors who get the most people to state on their ballots that they found out about the show from them will win a prize (collection of handcrafted goodies or a journal/notebook. See http://booksbycher.com for samples of the latter).
The 4 vendors who share the event the most on Facebook and Instagram (and meet the minimum requirement of 3 shares) will receive an Artisan Fair gift certificate.
The person who's named the most on the ballots as where/who the person heard about the show from will win a free booth in a 2020 show.
