Hand Block Printed and Sewn Fabric Items.
My passion for working with Textiles has, over the years, led me through different
phases of designing and creating Fabric-based items.
I was fascinated with the art of Hand Block Printing when I visited the textile cottage
industry in India where the ancient art of printing, using hand carved wooden blocks
originated. The fact that I could create my own prints and style intrigued me.
Working with a range of different textiles and participating in Craft markets has given
me a sense of the demands of the current times.

Dear Gloria: My beautiful banner promptly arrived yesterday and I was astonished at your skill and handiwork. I love it! Today, the banner will be placed in my She-Shed and then I will send you a picture. Thank you so much for extra gift. I love birds and you knew that from all the bird houses in the back yard. Thank you for being so thoughtful! I have decided not to stamp any words on the squares. Why mess with perfection?
