What do you create? How did you get started and what motivated you to start?
I make all natural, holistic wellness healing products for the mind, body and soul.
It all started with our lovely native pollinator garden installed by our son. It provides numerous benefits for the community, and brings joy and peace to those who understand its full benefits.
As a Holistic Wellness Coach, I couldn't help but dig deeper into our garden to investigate all its natural healing capabilities and how I could incorporate them. I have only begun to touch on the numerous varieties in the garden.

Which item do you have the most fun making?
Hard to pick, all of them. And the kitchen smells just wonderful during all the processes. But I do get a pleasant satisfaction out of watching the monarda fistulosa healing salve come together. It settles to a very pretty, fresh colour.
What are you doing when you're not creating?
I own and operate a home daycare. I write. I blog. I work on my Wellness Business, Lightwork In Progress.
Where do you work on your creations?
In my kitchen. My desk looks like an apothecary!
How do you occupy your mind while working?
An old black and white mystery playing in the background (mostly for the sound effects) is the best!
Where do you get your inspiration?
From family, our garden and people I meet. (And, of course, the guardians!)
What's the most difficult part of the process?
Waiting for the Harvest Moon.
What else should readers know about you and your creations?
This is the first year I will be presenting my products.
Meet Michele Conlin at the Peterborough Public Library on Nov 12th and Dec 10th, 10am-2pm, and at the Lions Club (347 Burnham St) on Dec 4th, 10am-2pm.
