I create copper wire-wrapped jewelry and sculpture. I've always been an artist, but I was trying to make a gift for a friend and wanted to find a way to mount a stone. I had some craft wire around and gave it a try. I was instantly hooked!
I enjoy all items but I love unique and custom pieces most!
What are you doing when you're not creating?
I am often found literally out in the woods, walking my dog or hiking or hunting.
Where do you work on your creations?
Generally in my home studio.
How do you occupy your mind while working?
I was youtube or netflix sometimes.
All over but mostly what I see around me, nature etc.
What's the most difficult part of the process?
Definitely the ache in my hands. I have athritis and some of the work I'm doing is extremely small and detailed. It can be a challenge!
I think it would have to be one of my dragons
What memorable responses have you had to your work?
People are amazed when they realize everything I do starts with an idea and a roll of copper wire.
I can make pretty much anything with wire and I'm always up for a new challenge, let's make something together!
I have a website that I sell my items on. It can be found at https://the-treasure-trove-wire-design.square.site/ I also have a facebook page that can be found at https://www.facebook.com/thetreasuretrovewiredesigns
